These Terms explain how One True Vow works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. We’ve written them in a clear, friendly way — but they’re still important.

One True Vow (“One True Vow”, “we”, “us”) is a wedding website creator and planning platform. We provide tools that help couples create a public wedding website and manage wedding planning features (such as RSVPs and seating planning).
These Terms apply to use of our website, apps, tools, vendor advertising services, and any related features (together, the “Service”).
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service as an account holder.
You may help create a wedding website on behalf of a couple only if you have their permission. Couples remain responsible for what is published on their website.
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@onetruevow.com.
Couples can create a wedding website (often on a subdomain) and publish content such as names, dates, venue info, images, schedules, and other details. Your website may be publicly accessible, and what you publish is your choice.
The Service may include planning tools such as RSVP management, seating planning, guest messaging/guestbook, quizzes, music requests, and other features. Features may evolve over time.
You are responsible for deciding what information to include on your site and who you share it with. If you choose to publish personal information, it may be viewable by anyone with the link (or publicly, depending on your settings).
Guests may be able to submit content through a couple’s website, including:
Couples are responsible for moderating guest submissions through their admin console. One True Vow provides the tools, but couples decide what to approve, publish, or remove (where moderation is available).
Guests must be respectful and must not submit abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual/adult, illegal, or infringing content. We may remove content or restrict access if needed to protect users and the Service.
You keep ownership of the content you upload or create on One True Vow (for example: photos, text, guestbook posts, and designs), but you must have the rights to use it.
By uploading or publishing content, you give One True Vow a limited licence to host, store, display, and process that content solely to provide and operate the Service (including showing it on your published wedding website to your guests).
One True Vow may provide default/shared images or design assets. These are provided for use within the Service and may be changed over time.
We do not use personally created couple websites for marketing. Your website is for you and your guests. If we ever wish to feature a couple or their website, we will request explicit consent first.
Couple names must not be used without consent. If we become aware that a website was created without the couple’s permission, we may remove the account/website without question.
If you believe content on One True Vow infringes your copyright, please email support@onetruevow.com with details and we’ll investigate.
You must not use One True Vow for:
We may remove content, disable features, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe the Service is being misused. For serious breaches (including scams, harassment, or illegal content), removal may be immediate.
Vendors advertised on One True Vow are vetted by us before being approved to advertise. However, you should still do your own checks before booking any services.
We provide an advertising platform that helps vendors be discovered by couples and allows couples to send enquiries. We are not a booking agent and we do not manage vendor services.
One True Vow does not manage payments between couples and vendors. Any quotes, bookings, contracts, and payments are agreed directly between the couple and vendor outside the platform (unless we explicitly introduce a future feature).
Vendors must provide accurate information, respond professionally, and must not engage in scams, misleading advertising, or abusive conduct. Vendors are responsible for their own services and claims.
Creating a wedding website is free forever, with optional paid upgrades that may be offered in the future. Any paid upgrades (if offered) will be clearly described before purchase.
Vendor advertising is subscription-based. If a vendor cancels, the subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, then ends.
We do not offer refunds to vendors for lack of enquiries, leads, or “hits”. Refunds may be considered only in the event of a significant issue with the Service (at our discretion).
Payments may be processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe). Their terms and supported countries may apply depending on their rules.
We take privacy seriously. Couples choose what content is published publicly on their websites. Guest submissions (RSVPs, guestbook messages, etc.) are stored so couples can manage their wedding planning.
Please review our Privacy Policy for further information.
One True Vow is provided as-is and as available. We do our best to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
We may create backups and may roll back data if needed, but we cannot guarantee that backups are always complete or that recovery is always possible. By using the Service, you accept that data loss can happen and that One True Vow is not liable for it.
Some features may rely on third-party services (for example, embedded media). We are not responsible for outages or changes to third-party services.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, One True Vow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
One True Vow is not responsible for:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Couple websites may be public and may be indexed by search engines. This can help guests find the correct wedding website, and it can help couples share their details more easily.
If you do not want a website to be publicly discoverable, you should avoid posting sensitive personal information. (Additional privacy settings may be offered over time.)
We may update the Service, add features, remove features, or update these Terms from time to time. When changes are important, we’ll do our best to provide notice through the website or admin panel.
Continued use of the Service after updates means you agree to the updated Terms.
